Long line shoes was established in Parramatta in 1977 by Scottish migrant Catherine Mac Lachlan. Taking a size 11 ½ herself and recognizing a need for a specialty shoe store; Catherine sold her house and went into business. One year later she opened a second shop in the Dymocks building in Sydney. Best described as a smorgasbord of shoes, they cater for all ages from teenagers to seniors. There are many footwear choices in height, colour and style from Italy, China, Portugal, New Zealand and of course Australia.
